Week 2 Advice:  Maximize Your Revenue / Square Foot

Take a good look at your seating… ask yourself how often EVERY seat is filled (10% of the time you’re open, 5%, 0%?).  Removing just a few booths or tables can enable you the opportunity to earn $100k or more in new sales… more on how to do that starting next week.

Week One

The Week One “message in a bottle” was dropped off today to select locations in Southeastern PA.  Included was the following piece of advice…

Week 1 Advice:  Coupons ≠ New Customers 

Coupons for “$3 off on a pizza” will not bring in new customers from over 5 miles away… it will just reduce the $ you earn from your regulars. 

However, carrying a high variety of unique and interesting craft beer WILL bring in new customers (as soon as they know about you… more on that in the coming weeks)

Intro to 12

12

… it’s a bit of a magical number, when you think about it.

For MEASUREMENT:  There are 12 inches in a foot, 12 hours on a clock, and 12 months in a year…

                      

For IMPROVEMENT:  The famous “12 Step Program” is a set of guiding principles outlining a course of action for recovery from addiction, compulsion, or other behavioral problems…

For SUPPORT:  Football teams rely on the “12th Man”…

For GENEROSITY:  The 12 days of Christmas…

All in all, it seems as though 12 is a very positive number.  And with that in mind, Gateway Beers has put together a “12 Pack Promo” that is going out to a select group of (you guessed it) 12 establishments around Southeastern PA … and will be delivered over the next 12 weeks leading up to the end of the year.  Consider it our 12 Weeks of Christmas…

Each week, we will deliver one key piece of advice – based on what the BEST establishments across the country are doing – and what consumers are asking for demanding these days.

We will also be posting the advice here to this Blog, for any of you Restaurant Owners who would like to double (or possibly even triple) your revenue from beer sales next year… stay tuned.
